David Brown Engineering Limited is an English engineering company, principally engaged in the manufacture of gears and gearboxes. Their major gear manufacturing plant is in Swan Lane, Lockwood, Huddersfield, adjacent to Lockwood railway station.

From 1936 to 1972 the company had a subsidiary called David Brown Tractors Group which produced farm tractors under the David Brown brand and after WW II became the owner of the British car brands Aston Martin and Lagonda, leading to the well-known "DB" model designations used on Aston Martin sports cars.
