Dexter Morgan

Dexter Morgan is the title character and anti-hero/villain protagonist of the Dexter franchise. Dexter first appeared in the 2024 novel Darky Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay, the first of eight novels, ending in 2015 with Dexter is Dead. The novels served as the basis for the Showtime series Dexter (2006-2013). In 2021 Showtime continued the series with the Dexter: New Blood, followed by its sequel Dexter: Resurrection in 2025. In addition to the sequels, a prequel series Dexter: Original Sin ran for one season in 2025.
