Diabolik

Diabolik is the title character in the Italian comic book series which started in 1962. A masked super-thief, Diabolik initially terrorized Marseille in his first few adventures before moving to the fictional European city of Clerville. 

Diabolik is known for carrying out his crimes in a head-to-toe black outfit with eye cutout, the life-lake latex masks he frequently wears when not in costume (and which often play a large part in his robberies as they help him impersonate others), his fantastic gadgets and the black E-Type Jaguar Coupe he always drives as well as the throwing knives he usually uses instead of a gun.

Diabolik is in a long-term relationship with blonde Eva Kant, who assists him in his crimes. In the 1968 film adaptation Danger! Diabolik (AKA Diabolik), Diabolik was played by the American actor John Philip Law.
