Diabolik is the title character in the Italian comic book series which started in 1962. A masked super-thief, Diabolik initially terrorized Marseille in his first few adventures before moving to the fictional European city of Clerville.
Diabolik is known for carrying out his crimes in a head-to-toe black outfit with eye cutout, the life-lake latex masks he frequently wears when not in costume (and which often play a large part in his robberies as they help him impersonate others), his fantastic gadgets and the black E-Type Jaguar Coupe he always drives as well as the throwing knives he usually uses instead of a gun.
