Dr. Alfred Bellows

Dr. Alfred E. Bellows is the psychiatrist for NASA and a main character in I Dream of Jeannie as well as the 1985 NBC-TV movie I Dream of Jeannie... Fifteen Years Later. He is played by veteran TV, stage, and film actor Hayden Rorke.

Dr. Bellows is a very formal person and although he seems to be out to get Tony, he actually thinks very highly of Tony and he will defend Tony if the proposition of firing Tony ever comes up, although a few times he has complied with firing Tony. He is constantly trying to catch Tony in situations involving Jeannie's magic, but can never prove his claims. He is married to Amanda Bellows and has a nephew named Richard. He was getting bored with psychiatry and considering retiring before Maj. Nelson came along. His true dream in life was to sail a whaling ship to Alaska but it never happened.
