Edward Adrian Guardado (born October 2, 1970) is a former Major League Baseball pitcher and bullpen coach. Nicknamed "Everday Eddie," he made his MLB debut with the Minnesota Twins on June 13, 1993. Guardado played with the Minnesota Twins (1993-2003 and 2008), Seattle Mariners (2004-2006), Cincinnati Reds (2006-2007), and the Texas Rangers (2008 and 2009). His last MLB appearance was with the Rangers on September 30, 2009; he ended his career with a 46-61 Win-Loss record, 798 strikeouts, and 187 saves, and an ERA of 4.31. Guardado was a two-time All Star (2002, 2003), the American League saves leader in 2002, and was named to the Minnesota Twins Hall of Fame in 2013.
