Etana Jol

Etana Jol was a female Ktarian operative who appeared in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “The Game” (Season 5, Episode 6). She encountered Commander William Riker on Risa and introduced him to a neuro-stimulating game designed to induce addiction and suppress critical thinking. Etana’s true mission was to distribute the device aboard the USS Enterprise-D as part of a covert Ktarian plot to gain control over Starfleet personnel. Under her influence, most of the crew became addicted to the game. Her plan was ultimately foiled by Wesley Crusher and Ensign Robin Lefler, who reactivated Lieutenant Commander Data to free the crew from the game's effects. Etana was apprehended following the failure of her mission.
