The game was initially released on August 7, 2024, on Steam. It was originally going to released on August 8 for the franchise's 10-year anniversary,[4] but following an accidental release on Nintendo Switch, the game was released a day early. This would be followed by PlayStation and Xbox ports on September 27, 2024,[5]and Nintendo Switch on October 31, 2024.[6]
