Hailing from Worcester, England, Geoffrey was one of the pioneers in this field, defining cataloging standards which are still followed by many collectors nowadays. After the demise of the UK Matchbox club in 1985 he started his own magazine called Lesney Link, which only lasted until 1987 though. He passed away in 2006.
