Something Missing?

George Hurst along with Bill Campbell were the original founders of what today is Hurst. Known mainly for their aftermarket shifters, Hurst also invented 'The Jaws Of Life' & gave it away. He helped with the design of the original 'Hurst Hemi Under Glass' wheelstanding exhibition drag racer in addition to helping design some factory 'muscle cars', for example, the 1969 AMC-Hurst SC/Rambler. The Hurst emblem was incorporated into the car's emblems. Hemmings magazine also credits him with saving the Indy Pace Car program.
