Grisoni

Brand

Something Missing?

Italian producer of plastic model vehicles and plastic models of other items in various scales, identified by a square logo featuring the letters "CGGC" (with "GG" standing for "Giocattoli Grisoni", i.e. "Grisoni Toys").

This company was active in the 1970s and was at some point taken over by another Italian company named GPS Cavicchi, which still uses Grisoni's molds to produce plastic items to this day, some of them still featuring the "CGGC" logo. Genuine vintage Grisoni products and those made more recently by GPS Cavicchi are often difficult to distinguish.

Some of the molds, however, were not taken over by GPS Cavicchi, but went to a company in Monaco called Poly-Plastic instead, which re-issued those models with its own "PP" logo and "Made in Monaco" lettering.

Other former Grisoni molds ended up in Brazil with a company called Brasilflex.
