Kaktins previously said that this will be the second "Hard Rock Cafe" chain cafe in Eastern Europe - the first works in the Russian capital Moscow, but in the future the cafes are also planned to open in Tallinn, Vilnius, Prague, Warsaw, as well as the Russian city of St. Petersburg. In total, the number of "Hard Rock Cafe" has reached 108 worldwide, and they are famous for their extensive collections of relics and souvenirs of famous musicians.

"Hard Rock Cafe" will be the first global network cafe in Latvia. It is expected that the "Hard Rock Cafe" in Old Riga, which will be located on Palasta Street, will also have relics of famous musicians in Latvia and the world, including guitars, clothes and various items.

In Riga, "Hard Rock Cafe" is formed under a franchise agreement, which not only includes the possibility to open a cafe with the famous name, but also sets strict conditions, including for food, cafe interior and items - they must be the same as all over the world. The representative of "Hard Rock Cafe Riga" previously added that "Hard Rock" has very high requirements, and the franchise is also very expensive. He did not disclose the total investment in the future two-storey cafe in Old Riga, but admitted that it is large.

The representative of "Hard Rock Cafe" said that the Old Riga rock café was chosen because in Europe "Hard Rock Cafe" is formed in the old towns and usually they are not built anew, but located in existing buildings.

It is planned that next to the cafe in Old Riga there will be a "Hard Rock Cafe" store, which will be opened before the opening of the cafe and where you can buy various souvenirs. Hard Rock's souvenir collection of world-famous musicians is mainly purchased at the famous New York auction house "Sotheby's of New York", spending about 250 thousand US dollars each time. Hard Rock currently owns the world's largest collection of musicians' souvenirs, with more than 63,000 different items totaling $ 32 million. The ain location of the relics is Orlando, from where the items will also be delivered to Latvia.

The first Hard Rock Cafe opened in 1971 in Hyde Park, London. The founders of the café are two businessmen - Peter Morton and Isaac Tigrett. The network of rock cafes began to expand in 1982, when the cafe opened in the US city of Los Angeles. Now such cafes are open in Australia, China, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Japan, Spain, Portugal, Great Britain, Singapore, etc.

In the world, Hard Rock not only has a network of cafes, but also owns four hotels, three live music venues, two casinos, two memorial museums and one weekly radio show. "Hard Rock" is also famous in the world for holding large-scale annual rock concerts, as well as for donating all the proceeds to charity by selling items printed by famous musicians.

"Lursoft" data show that the owners of "Hard Rock Cafe Riga" include both Russian citizens and Latvian individuals.
