Harold Schwarz, born in 1956, studied as a lawyer and is an employee of a large German insurance company. His interest in motor sport began in the early 1970s, when the motor sports scene was dominated by personalities such as the Formula 1 world champions Jochen Rindt, Jackie Stewart, and Emerson Fittipaldi, as well as the International Trademark Championship with the legendary battles between Porsche 917 and 908, Ferrari 512S and Alfa Romeo 33/3.Jörg Thomas Födisch is the editor and photographer for the monthly magazine the German Federal Armed Forces. He has published numerous books on the Formula 1 racing driver Wolfgang Graf Berghe von Trips, the Nürburgring and the Porsche racing cars. His detailed expertise extends to all disciplines of motorsport, from touring and sports cars to Formula 1.
