Something Missing?

In Greek mythology, Icarus and his father attempt to escape from Crete using wings Icarus's father crafted from feathers and wax. Icarus' father warns him not to fly too low or too high, so the sea's dampness would not clog his wings or the sun's heat melt them. Icarus ignored his father's instructions, flew too close to the sun, the sun's heat melted the wax in his wings and he fell into the sea.
