Jacques Villeneuve is the son of Gilles Villeneuve and is the namesake nephew of Jacques Villeneuve, both of whom carved out extensive racing careers. The younger Villeneuve had a special career of his own, earning 1994 Rookie of the Year honors on the Indy World Car series. He joined Mario Andretti and Emerson Fittipaldi to win a CART Championship (1995), the Indianapolis 500 (1995), a Formula One championship (1997). He moved on to Formula One, winning 11 times.
