James "Jim" Busby (born June 14, 1942 in Pasadena, California) is a retired American car racing driver and racing team owner.

Jim Busby ran his own racing team in the IMSA GTP series. He belonged in the 1980s to the leading riders and won among others in 1981 that the World Sportscar Championship scoring 6-hour race at Riverside. Three times, 1976, 1985 and 1986, he was third overall in the Daytona 24-hour race.

Busby still runs his racing team and is thus active in the North American top fuel dragster scene. He also sells Ferrari road vehicles and owns a Ferrari F1-2000 and an F301B acquired from Scuderia. With these race cars he goes regularly at the historic Formula 1 race to the starting line.
