John Hill & Co was founded in 1898 in North London, England. They are known for pre-war diecast, Coronation coach, motorcycles and land speed record cars. John Hill & Company became known as Johillco sometime in the 1930s. They started to switch to plastic toys but could not survive and closed in 1960. See Diecast Collector, Feb 2024, pp 54-55.
