Kaido is a major antagonist in the One Piece franchise. He is the Governor-General of the Beasts Pirates, a former member of the Four Emperors and was a member of the legendary Rocks Pirates as an apprentice forty years ago alongside prominent members like Big Mom and Whitebeard. He used to be a soldier of his home island, Vodka Kingdom but was betrayed by his homeland. He's the arch-nemesis of the Kozuki Clan, Gecko Moria and his child, Yamato.
