The Korps Landelijke Politiediensten (KLPD) was a national support unit of the Dutch "Politie" (Police), which existed from 1993 till 2013. It was the successor of the "Rijkspolitie". Their main responsibility was to patrol the highways, rivers, and provide services to the regional police units (like communication). Most famous cars of the KLPD were the Porsches, which mostly served previously in the "Rijkspolitie" livery and then became new livery in 1993. Only a limited number of new Porsche roadsters were purchased beyond 1993. They became too expensive and were not practical for taking in faulty drivers to the police station...
