Released in 2010 to coincide with Tomica's 40th Anniversary, these are also called the "Showa" models. This refers to the Shōwa period (Japanese: 昭和時代), corresponding to the reign of the Shōwa Emperor, Hirohito, from December 25, 1926 until his death on January 7, 1989.
The models were all in Sepia tones - reminiscent of period photos and films.
