La Route Bleue

1/43 French part works series by Altaya, started in 2008, to commemorate the legendary Route Nationale RN7, aka "Route Bleue", which is basically the French equivalent to the American Route 66.
The RN7 ran from Paris to the French border with Italy near Menton. It has been replaced by motorways beginning in the 1950s.
Each model is mounted to a plastic mini diorama, including figures, an N7 milepost, and sometimes also other items. They are covered with a transparent plastic case two sides of which have a background photo attached.
