In 1998, they finished runner-up to fellow Italian Andrea Navarra, whilst Dario D'Esposito occasionally deputised for Roggia.
The 2003 season proved deadly when in June 2003, Aghini crashed into a dry stone wall in the vicinity of Santa Maria di Leuca during the 37th Rally del Salento, and Roggia died from his injuries. Almost all competitors decided to withdraw. Later, the second leg was cancelled.
