"M2 Machines" is the brand name of Castline Inc's line of 1:64 & 1:24 (1:18th discontinued) diecast models of cars and trucks from the 1940s up to the 1990s. As with most diecast companies production is based in Asia with distibution of all product coming out of California, USA.

Their 1:64 models were mostly distributed in card stock boxes, but their recent releases now come in clam shell packaging that includes a larger card back with the casting still inclosed by a jewel type display case with black base.

Each separate 1:64 release has included 4 to 9 vehicles  and usually includes a "chase" vehicle limited to 750 or 500 pieces distributed world wide. Chase vehicles are usually made in black with gold highlights.

Some series releases also include a more "limited" vehicle usually limited to 250 or 168 pieces world wide.  Some also include a "chrome" vehicle that is limited to just 108 pieces world wide. Limited vehicles are usually done in gold with gold highlights and chrome vehicles are usually completely chromed except for the interior and tires.

Known series include, but are not limited to:  Auto-Drivers, Auto-Thentics, Auto-Trucks, Detroit-Muscle, Auto-Japan and many others including releases from popular or historical designers.
