Brothers Jack (Jack Manoil 29 January 1902 – 1 September 1955) and Maurice (Maurice Manoil 4 December 1896 – 15 September 1974), founded Manoil back in 1934, Walter Baetz was the sculptor for the toy soldiers and for the seven early vehicles of the Manoil toys series, most were stylized versions of real cars or futuristic cars. The manufacturing was in Manhattan originally, moved to Brooklyn later Waverly NY, and closed down in 1955.
