Marie Rose is an 18-year-old Swedish maid and the ward of Helena Douglas, who uses the Russian fighting style systema. She debuted in the Arcade Edition of DOA5 Ultimate and is a DLC character in the retail version of the game. When the sixth tournament was announced, Marie was tasked to guard Honoka, realizing MIST will come after her, including the Mugen Tenshin Ninja Ayane, to forcefully resurrecting their illegitimate father, Raidou as an undead ninja cyborg.

Marie was designed by Natsuko Kawakami. She is playable in DOAX3, appearing on the covers due to her popularity.
