Merseyside Model Railway Society

Their members have a wealth of experience in all major aspects of the hobby - baseboard construction, scenery, buildings, electrics, locomotive and rolling stock construction, - which they are happy to share. The Society purchased the premises in summer 2013 and this has resulted in an expansion of modelling space: They now have five (nearly) completed layouts; and five in earlier stages of construction.

The Society is proud of its community involvement: regular exhibitions offer public insights into the hobby and a commission to create a model of Birkenhead Woodside gave them a showcase in the Wirral Museum in Hamilton Square for many years.
