Mr. Hangten Wong is a character in the 2007 movie Norbit, played by Eddie Murphy. Mr. Wong runs The Golden Wonton, a Chinese restaurant and orphanage in Boiling Springs, Tennessee, where childhood friends Norbit and Kate live. After being thrown from a speeding car as a baby, Norbit grows up at the orphanage. He befriends Kate, another orphan, and is later protected from bullies by Rasputia. The two play-marry with Ring Pops, but are separated when Kate is adopted.
