Mutt & Jeff Comics Volume 1 (1939 - 1958)

Mutt & Jeff was an ongoing series published by DC Comics from 1939 to 1958 reprinting the popular newspaper strip of the same name, starring family man Augustus Mutt and his bachelor friend Jeff. Every issue also included reprints of Mutt & Jeff's spinoff strip, Cicero's Cat (renamed "The Cat" in some issues). Early issues of the series also included reprints of another newspaper strip, Simp O'Dill, and short text stories starring DC's own character, Hop Harrington from All-American Comics.
