Neo Destiny introduced Light Pokémon, a type of Pokémon. Light Pokémon cards have a white and gold artwork window, Evolution box and Pokédex box. Light Pokémon have higher HPs compared to those of normal Pokémon and attacks that often aid other Pokémon in play, likely due to the caring nature of the Trainer. Some Generation I Pokémon feature Ken Sugimori's Red and Blue artwork of their previous Stage, instead of the usual Red and Green artwork. Shining Pokémon now have Non Holofoil background, while the Pokémon were given a glossy metallic look. Neo Destiny was the final English expansion that have the 1st Edition symbol.
