The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, commonly called Jazz Fest or Jazzfest, is a celebration of local music and culture held annually in April and May at the Fair Grounds Race Course in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States of America. Founded in 1970, the festival has grown to feature a variety of musical genres and performers, ranging from Louisiana musicians, such as Fats Domino and the Neville Brothers, to international rock stars, such as Aerosmith and the Rolling Stones.
