Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason (b. January 27, 1945, Birmingham, West Midlands), Nicholas Berkeley Mason, CBE (born 27 January 1944) is an English drummer, best known as a founding member of the progressive rock band Pink Floyd.
Mason is the only Pink Floyd member featured on all of Pink Floyd’s studio albums, and the only constant member of the band since its formation in 1965. Mason co-wrote Pink Floyd compositions such as Echoes, Tim", Careful With That Axe, Eugene and One of These Days. In 2018, he formed a new band, Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets, to perform music from Pink Floyd's early years.

With proceeds from the successful album, Dark Side of the Moon, and a sporadic recording and touring schedule, Mason began to pursue his favorite hobby – motor racing. His interest was documented in the 1986 short film, ALife Could Be a Dream.
His car collection is a subject of his 1998 book, Into the Red, in which he documents his experience with his cars, along with some histories. He owns (through his company Ten Tenths) and races several classic cars and has competed successfully at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. His racing cars include: Alfa Romeo 8C; Bentley 4½ Liter (his father's racing car); Bugatti Type 35; Jaguar D-Type; Ferrari 250 LM; Ferrari BB LM; Maserati Tipo 61; McLaren F1 GTR; and he previously raced a BRM P30.
Nick Mason also wrote a personal memoir of his book the entirety of Pink Floyd’s musical career, Inside Out: A Personal History of Pink Floyd: London: Weidenfeld & Nicolson Illustrated. p/p0p. 360 p. ISBN 0-7538-1906-6.
