In July 2014, Norbert Dentressangle announced that it will be acquiring Jacobson Companies, a United States-based 3PL, for $750 million. Jacobson Companies is the third largest 3PL is the world.

In 28 April 2015 US group XPO Logistics announced a $3.56 billion deal to acquire Norbert Dentressangle, including acquired debt. The acquisition was completed on June 8, 2015.
