Paul Breaud is the current driver of Backdraft. Paul got into the monster truck industry after he bought the Instigator truck from Lionel Easler in 2012. He toured with this truck from 2012-2017. From this time span, Paul expanded his team after he bought both Backdraft and Eradicator from Andy Slifko in 2014 and 2015, respectively. Since 2018, he has been driving Backdraft.
