Pit Road

This was a magazine for scale racing car model builders, focused primarily on 1:43 white metal kits, though resin and larger scale plastic kits were also included. Editors were Wyn Edwards and John Redding. Published quarterly in the UK from Spring 1979 to probably Spring 1992 (issue No. 48 announced a future issue to come but it may not have been printed). This magazine was produced during the heyday of 1:43 white metal kits and was invaluable in building them since sometimes kits did not include sufficient detail, or there were inaccuracies to be corrected. Subjects included almost any racing car -  F1, Indy cars, GT and sports racing cars, CanAm, rally cars, NASCAR, etc.
