In 1992, Raymond was workshop foreman in the Porsche garage in Rouen. He meets the young Franck Rava who is at the end of his studies in mechanics and who becomes his apprentice. The two accomplices founded the motorsport team IMSA Performance.
Raymond began motor racing in a Porsche 996 Carrera Cup in the year 2000 with the assistance of the president of Matmut, Daniel Havis.
theJune 23, 2013, with drivers Jean-Karl Vernay and Christophe Bourret, Raymond won the 24 Hours of Le Mans event in the "GTE Am" category and gave the Zuffenhausen firm its hundredth victory at Le Mans, all categories combined. This 90th edition is bereaved by the fatal accident of Danish driver Allan Simonsen, after going off the road at more than 200 km/h.
In 2016, Raymond added a third skill to the Porsche dealership in Rouen and to the IMSA Performance team, by creating the first Porsche Classic center in France dedicated to the maintenance and restoration of the brand 's classic cars.
