1950's diecast toy cars, trucks, and trains. Made by Jordan & Lewden Ltd. in London, England. Hard to identify because the baseplates had no manufacturer's name and as well as many of the boxes. Robert Newson documented them extremely well online and in Model Collector, April 1999.
Diecast Collector (Nov 2024) report that 6 or so cars were made first: Ford, Daimler, Austin, Buick, Standard Vanguard sedan and estate, from around 1953-4. Forward control and articulated trucks were also made, with or without clock-work.
