Ronald D. Moore (born July 5, 1964) is an American television writer and producer best known for his work on Star Trek and for developing the reimagined Battlestar Galactica (2004–2009). He served as a writer and producer on Star Trek: The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, and Voyager, and later created or developed series including Outlander and For All Mankind. Moore is known for his character-driven storytelling and serialized approach to science fiction television.
