Shawnee Smith, born in 1969, is an American actress and singer. She began acting at age 11 in Annie and later won a Drama-League Critics Award for her stage debut in To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday. In the late 1980s, she appeared in smaller roles before landing parts in The Blob and Who’s Harry Crumb?. Smith made guest appearances on Murder, She Wrote and The X-Files in the 90s and later starred in the sitcom Becker from 1998 to 2004. She gained further recognition for her role as Amanda Young in the Saw franchise, appearing in all six sequels. She also hosted season one of Scream Queens and played Jennifer Goodson in Anger Management.
