The first series of plastic model cars by APS, the brand which would later become Politoys.
Introduced in 1955 and produced until the mid 1960s, these models do not have a brand name cast on their bases, but feature the wording "Sistema Dep." instead. This means something like "registered system" or "patented system" but is often mistaken for a brand name.

The scale cast on the baseplates is always 1/77, although the actual scales of the models vary between 1/70 and 1/85.
For the most part these models were distributed as premiums in packs of sweets and chewing gum. Towards the series' end in the mid 1960s, some were also sold on their own in gift sets.
