The 2002 Skyline Series features city skyline buildings and landmarks from United States and Canada, and are typically blue on white, green on white, or gray on white. These include mugs (18 oz oz), demi cups (4 oz), giant mugs (2.5 gallon), and demi cup ornament sets (4 oz). Note: The Skyline Series demi cup ornaments are known as the 2003 Skyline or Special Edition Ornaments, but they all have an @2002 on the bottom.

• Giant Mugs that were released in a very limited edition and only to the high volume stores. 
• After 9-11, the USA Scenic Series were produced in a limited edition, 4-mug extension of the Skyline Series. The mugs include, Mount Rushmore, Statue of Liberty, Iwo Jima Memorial, and a multi-America flag. These mugs are the smallest series every produced by Starbucks, and the Iwo Jima Memorial mug is the most valuable as there were potentially only five or six sold. The others were destroyed.
