Something Missing?

A range of large scale diecast models by Matchbox, introduced in 1971 as successor to the previous King Size range, from which it is distinguished by the fitting of wire axles and Superfast wheels.

This range was devoted only to passenger and racing cars, while models of trucks and construction vehicles were called Super Kings. In 1979 those two ranges were combined under the Super Kings name.

Many of the Speed Kings models fit in with a collection of 1:43 scale models, although the actual scales are not consistent as the models were made to fit into standard size boxes.
