Star Trek: The Official Fan Club Magazine was the bimonthly publication of the Official Star Trek Fan Club. Originating as a small newsletter by Dan Madsen in 1979, it became an officially licensed magazine by Paramount Pictures in 1982 and was published by FANtastic Media beginning in 1986. The magazine featured behind-the-scenes articles, cast interviews, fan activities, and Star Trek news. With issue #100 in 1994, it evolved into Star Trek: Communicator, continuing the same numbering sequence.
