Star Wars: Episode I Collection

The Star Wars: Episode I Collection is a 3 3/4" toy line that debuted overnight May 2 and 3, 1999, at the first Star Wars midnight event at retail stores (particularly Toys 'R Us).  This line features characters, scenes, and vehicles seen in Episode I: The Phantom Menace. 

All of the carded figures in this line included a CommTech Chip, which functioned as a display stand for the figure.  In order to play the sound clips on the CommTech Chips, the Electronic CommTech Chip Reader, purchased separately, was needed.
