'Steve' was the name Major John Sheppard gave to a Wraith captured by First Atlantis Reconnaissance Team|his team.
He was captured during a trap set by Major John Sheppard and First Atlantis Reconnaissance Team|his team using a Wraith relay device on an unnamed planet. When Sheppard asked the Wraith if he had a name and jokingly suggested 'Steve' as an option, the Wraith simply replied that all the expedition needed to know was that he would be their death, prompting Sheppard to comment that he preferred Steve. However, the Atlantis expedition had nothing to offer Steve in return for his information, Sheppard noting that they couldn't meet his "dietary requirements".
