The Strictly 43rd Show ran for many years in Chicago, IL USA, started in 1991. Several special editions in 1/43 were made for the show. It may also be a name used for 1/43 model cars as well.
A report on the 1992 show at the Sheraton O'Hare Hotel (80 dealers) was in Model Auto Review 63 (Jun / Jul 1992). Wayne Moyer reviewed the 3rd Strictly 43rd Show in Chicago, in Model Auto Review 73 (Jun / Jul 1993) and the 6th in Model Auto Review 102 (June 1996)! Wayne Moyer again reviewed the 9th Strictly 43rd Show in Chicago, in Model Auto Review 133 (Jul - Aug 1999) where it was held at the Four Points Hotel in Schiller Park, and the Tenth Annual show in Model Auto Review 143 (Jun 2000) .

Model Cars Magazine has a 4-page article by the same Wayne Moyer, May/Jun 2000, called "10th Annual Strictly 43rd".
Originally it was held in a hotel ballroom (a Ramada?) on the northeast corner of the O'Hare airport area. It was held then in conjunction with a Ferrari club event. Later it moved south to a Sheraton in the Schiller Park area. Finally it moved to a union hall in Countryside. It lasted until the mid to late 2000s perhaps.
An online reference shows one in 2004: "March 27 Strictly 43rd Show, Park Place of Countryside"
In 2020, the how was restarted as the 1/43rd and Automobilia Show took its place at Countryside, IL. It continues to run in 2025... (KDS)
