Super GT
Matchbox | Series
Super GT was a series of twenty simplified Matchbox Miniatures castings issued from 1986 to 1990, originally made in England, then from late 1987 onward made in China. The models all have plastic baseplates, opaque windows and no interior. Opening parts were cast shut and other features of the castings were also simplified. The models did not have their names on their baseplates, only "SUPER G.T." and a "BR ##/##" reference number (BR stood for "Budget Range").
