Thunderbirds is a British electronic-marionette television series created by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson, and production company AP Films. It follows the adventures and exploits of International Rescue, a secret organisation dedicated to saving the lives of people caught up in natural, technological and man-made disasters. The series spawned the "classic Thunderbirds" franchise which, together with a collection of comics, novels, and audio stories, still continues to this day.
