Tony Farrell was a monster truck driver from North Vernon, Indiana. He was famous for driving Blue Thunder and creating the Wild Thang truck. He also created Blue Ribbon Bandit, and also drove Sting and Grave Digger the Legend. Farrell first garnered fame with Wild Thang and drove the truck through 2001 when he joined FELD Motorsports. He also drove Sting at Monster Jam World Finals 2 in the same year. He was also a school bus driver.
He passed away in 2015 after being struck by drunk driver at an outdoor concert in Tennessee. The drunk driver was later sentenced to six years in prison.
