Coinciding with the Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Hogsmeade land at Universal Studios' Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida on June 18, 2010, a series of wands were offered for purchase to provide a more immersive experience.
Initially, 13 wands were available, packaged in varying color boxes and branded with "Ollivaders - Makers of Fine Wands since 382 BC". These wands were simply generic wands that combined elements of known wands within the Harry Potter universe. Additionally, a line of interactive character wands were produced that allowed the user to interact with elements in the Wizarding World. While the original wands were eventually retired, the interactive assortment continued over the years as a second land opened in Universal Studios Orlando-- The wizarding World of Harry Potter - Diagon Alley, and additional characters' wands were added.

Starting in 2025 and timed with the opening of Epic Universe, a second generation of interactive wands was released. These wands included main characters' as well as new offerings. These wands had light up features as well as the ability to tie into the Universal Play app where one could track their progress with various elements throughout all of the Wizarding World locations. Another sub-series of wands were produced and packaged under the Cosme Acajor brand specific to Epic Universe's Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Ministry of Magic modeled after the Parisian Place Cachee location seen in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
