In his first year he won the 1999 NBA Rookie of the Year. His other accolades include Florida Mr. Basketball, 2000 NBA Slam Dunk Contest Champion, and multiple years as an NBA All-Star. In addition to the Raptors, Carter has played with the New Jersey Nets, Orlando Magic, Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks, and Memphis Grizzlies.
