The Wiener Lokalbahnen GmbH (WLB) is a transport company in Greater Vienna with a share capital of 1,000,000 euros, whereby this on the Wiener Stadtwerke GmbH in the amount of 999,362.73 euros and on the Wiener Stadtwerke Vermögensverwaltung GmbH in the amount of 637.27 euros is divided.
The Viennese local railways operate a double-tracked and completely electrified railway line from Vienna to Baden , apart from the single-track section within Baden, the so-called Badner Bahn as well as several bus lines. All passenger traffic is integrated into the Verkehrsverbund Ost-Region (VOR). In addition, the company handles freight transport and has been operating since 1999 in both passenger and freight transport concessions on all railway lines throughout the European Union.

The company also operates the former tram line to Traiskirchen Aspangbahn in freight transport, today as a non-electrified connection to the company premises of the former Semperit AG and as a connection to the network of ÖBB.
The company is the sole owner of the subsidiaries Wiener Lokalbahnen Verkehrsdienste GmbH (handicapped transport and occasional bus services) and Wiener Lokalbahnen Cargo GmbH (freight transport).
